The Brief
Sally is a private specialist providing therapy to both families and individuals living with health conditions. As her clients are of a higher income background, she wanted an identity that represented a premium and professional service whilst still coming across as friendly and welcoming with the overall look and feel.
Our Approach
The handwritten treatment of the name adds a warm, personable feel to the logo - the open, uplifting shapes integrated into the ‘P’ initial speak of support and growth, standing for both ‘Psychology’ as well as Sally’s surname.
For fonts, I chose a trusted serif (Petrona) with soft curves and gentle variations in stroke that aligned with the cursive style lettering in the logo. This was balanced with a clean and professional-looking sans serif (Montserrat), used for the medical credentials in the logo.
Alongside the identity, I designed and built a 5-page Squarespace website (complete with custom 404 page as standard) to showcase Sally’s services and approach, adding handwritten graphic elements for a cohesive look and feel.
“Tanya was able to bring both her eye for design and a technical understanding to putting together my website which meant I had total faith in what she would produce.
Tanya worked with me to develop branding and a website for my venture into private practice.
While working with me on branding, she really took the time to find out what I needed and develop an understanding of the market and business model. She was able to offer a range of creative ideas and develop these with my feedback to provide me with something that I feel really represents me and what I offer well.
She was able to guide me through the process to bring together a website which represents the work I do, is professional, and so informative for clients.
I would not hesitate to work with Tanya again.”
